Course Overview

The Federal Skills Accelerator is a four-part virtual training series that empowers federal employees, managers, and contractors to turn their government experience into sustainable, compliant income opportunities. Participants learn to assess transferable skills, design consulting or training offers, and navigate procurement and small-business pathways that lead to real contracts.

Each participant completes a Micro-Business Capability Statement and AI Skills Map using our AI-powered tools. The program also provides guided access to SAM.gov, Grants.gov, and SBA certification platforms to help connect learning directly to contracting action.

✨ Integrated AI Framework

This program includes select lessons from BrickRose Exchange’s AI Literacy and Digital Skills for the Future Workforce framework, reviewed by the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) and confirmed as exempt from regulation. These elements help participants use AI tools responsibly and effectively within leadership and contracting settings.

    • Session 2 (Jan 22, 2026): Understanding Federal Contracting Pathways
    • Session 3 (Feb 5, 2026): Building Your Consulting and Micro-Business Profile
    • Session 4 (Feb 19, 2026): Ethical Launch Plan and Next Steps
  • Bonus: 30-minute group follow-up within 30 days post-program
  • Duration: 1–1.5 hours per session
  • Cohort Size: 15–40 participants
